as long as it's not lightning we will play, I don't think tomorrow would be a problem though

it's just a plastic bat... I don't see what the big deal is... if it were a metal bat, that would be a different story, although the chances of getting struck by lightning are still not all that great...

G20Four...the ground can still be struck which would be a lot worse than a single (metal) bat being struck...basically every1 gets a taste instead of just one guy with really bad luck lol

Settle down Josh, I was just joking... I perfectly aware of the dangers of electricity... in all it's forms... I do work with it everyday...
Anyway, good luck to all teams left in the play-offs... rain or shine... w/o lightning... naturally.

It's all in good fun... and you're right, perhaps I should have been more aggressive considering the team I was on couldn't do much when I did get on base via walk... but the last 2 games we played, I believe I did bat .400 or so... it wasn't against elite pitching, but it certainly was a step in the correct direction...
Plus I was only trying to follow the "captains" game plan... which was a very non-aggressive one... don't worry, next season I'll try and get the bat off my shoulders a little more often... just for you Josh.
And Buster... idk about Manager of the year, but I'm all about having fun win or lose... and with that said, if there is anybody who is perhaps searching for a new team... The Mets are looking to possibly add 2-3 veteran players... We have a few guys in the farm system if need be, but I'd like to add some veterans to the squad.

just want to point this out i only said dont swing until you get a strike for the first half of the season which is very reasonable considering everyone on the team was a rookie except me

first half of the season? Good one... Anyway, if you sit back and wait for things to happen, nothing good will happen... I wasn't aggressive enough, and I'll admit it... but you put a black cloud over the team by telling people to wait... they very well could have watched a hittable ball go right past them. And I'm pretty sure there were times when you didn't want certain people to swing at all...
Oh and this was on top of the fact that you, the captain, couldn't field a team when you weren't there... which was too often for the person who was suppose to be the leader of the team...
Anyhow, no hard feelings... on to bigger and better things.
