I think you guys have just had tough pitching match ups. You guys are better then your record. I hate NY sports but I've always like Mets/Jets fans better then then the others. I love underdogs too. Although I'm starting to hate the Jets lol but for the most part those fans just seem more level headed and rational. So we got something in common. I hope we can take down the Braves but there balling right now. Will see what happens in the playoffs if we get past the Tiggers.

We have had some tough pitching match-ups but like I've said we've also had a lot of opportunities to score runs with the bases loaded and no outs, or one out, and haven't come through. We've also haven't had a stable roster which hurts, idk on a game-to-game basis who is going to show up or not... this past week in particular has been rough because Luke has had some football camp and Jamie sprained his knee pretty badly. Against the Cards it was Me, Mike, and Tim... Mike was able to get a few friends to come play but it's not the same. Then against you guys we had four for the first game and fortunately had Scott, but then we lost Tim for the second game and I think that hurt us defensively and at the plate because Tim was swinging the bat pretty well... I know you guys are facing some of the same issues and Gallos injury certainly complicates matters. Hopefully he will have a quick recovery, but back issues are tricky and you don't really want to mess with them.
As for the Jets... there are always going to be haters when a team starts playing well, and it's magnified for them because A) they're in NY, and B) Rex Ryan likes to talk the talk and a lot of people don't care for that. I'm personally not a big fan of talking and guarantees, but you know what? After Herman Edwards and Eric Mangini Rex is a nice change of pace, and more importantly his players love to play for him. Say what you will about the guy and his mouth (what he does with his wife his own personal matter and I don't think that should ever be used against a person unless it's illegal), but he really is a great defensive mind, and if Sanchez somehow becomes a decent QB and is able to lead that offense I think the Jets are going to be a force for a while.

I actually like Rex I just don't like some of the players. They are a very good team but it all rides on Sanchez. I'm don't think he's got it but that being said I didn't think Eli did either and they won with a team thats not as good as the Jets now so who knows. It's all about the Tebow era this year, lol. Atleast I hope he turns out to be half of what he was in college.

Eh... I think I'd take Sanchez over Tebow. Who knows maybe he will be smart enough, and work hard enough to be a game manager. He's obviously a natural leader, but I'm not a fan of his skill set and I don't see him turning out to be anything special. At best I could see him being a lesser Chad Pennington who can scramble some. But, only time will tell.

Yea I agree. I don't see it with him either. I'll be cheering for him but I won't be too upset if they trade Orton and Tebow is terrible and the Broncos end up with the number 1 pick to get a future star Andrew Luck. I don't think they will be that bad because Fox, Dumervil, and Miller means the defense will be a hell of a lot better then last year and I don't see Tebow being an Alex Smith either. I think he's going to be a lot like Vince Young which means average

hmm... idk. I mean if you've already proven to be a decent player, and then have an off year I think Comeback Player of the Year would be a more appropriate award. Most Improved should be for someone taking their game up a notch. Either way I agree with BK that Popp probably has you beat.
